What dialect are the files in?
The majority of the written materials are in Langilan Manobo, also known as Ata. Some of the other materials are in Cebuano (Bisaya), Umayamnon, Dibabawon, Tala Ingod, Tigwa or Matig Salug dialects.
What is MABCAM?
MABCAM is the Manobo Bible Church Association of Mindanao. This is a group of churches in Mindanao Island originally started by OMF International.
Where do the Manobo people live?
The Manobo groups mentioned in this website are located in the central area of Mindanao island in the Southern Philippines. In particular, they live in the provinces of Bukidnon, Davao del Norte and Compostela Valley (Comval). There are other Manobo dialects elsewhere in Mindanao, but materials in their languages are not available here.
